The early holiday palette

The preview included peach, pussy willow, salmon and white quince, tulip magnolia, forsythia, and double-flowering quince. White quince was described as limited, illustrating why a broad program still needed variety-by-variety confirmation.

What followed the winter crops

The planned sequence placed white cherry ahead of pink cherry in early February and Pieris in mid-February. Apricot and plum were conditional on sourcing; they were not guaranteed farm-grown crops.

Later spring possibilities

Flowering dogwood and spirea completed the later part of the preview. The article is a record of the 2022 plan, useful for understanding the farm’s range while actual timing and availability must be checked each season.
