Lavender within a four-color program

The source heading and text featured lavender tulip magnolia and named four main colors: lavender, white, yellow and dark purple marketed as black. The original URL says white magnolia; it is preserved to avoid breaking old links while the article follows its actual heading.

The late-winter branch mix

Prunus, limited Pieris, pink and white cherry, white and double quince, forsythia and pussy willow appeared alongside magnolia. A photograph of elk in the nearby forest continued the newsletter’s connection to the Oregon Coast landscape.
