A long magnolia program

Patrick describes offering tulip magnolia from December into April or May, subject to stock. The farm forces early and holds material cool later to extend its season.

Color and bud-stage choices

The source shows lavender, white, dark-purple or black, yellow and pink forms. White magnolia may show a blush, and its fuzzy buds were described as specimen material before flowering.

Spring life on the property

The email pictured a mother deer and fawn and the construction of a new timber-frame barn. Chestnut, cherry, peach, prunus and fantail willow accompanied the magnolia assortment. Current crop timing may differ from this 2020 program.
