Valentine’s Day Branches: Quince, Peach and Seasonal Choices
February–winter
The farm’s Valentine’s branch collection included quince, peach, magnolia, pussy willow and forsythia, with cherry dependent on the season’s timing.

The original grower note
From the archived post: We offer a good selection of Valentine’s Day Specialty Flowering Branches for the holiday. We sell pussy willow, forsythia, tulip magnolia, peach, quince, and double flowering quince. Sometimes we have white and pink cherry, but the season is cut close.

Quince is in the perfect stage for Valentine_s Day. All sizes available including Extra Tall.
Pink and white cherry shipping today. Pink is very limited and available for the first few lucky customers. White is more readily available. Please be aware, that though they are nice for cherry in January, they are not the quality you will receive in March.
Forsythia is still available. We’re out of tall at the moment but harvesting more and will have more available soon.
Every spring we have a baby deer born on our farm. I_m looking forward to this year_s.
A recent double rainbow just down the road from the farm. We live in a beautiful place_ but it rains a lot.
We have a great supply of tulip magnolia right now. This is what your will look like after about a week.
We have prunus available. Prunus is one crop we do not force because they pop open too quickly. They are tight now_ but open within a week if forcing properly.
Red Pussy Willow is now available. Striking red stems with white/grey catkins.
Spider roots are new. We have large (about 2 pounds each) and small (about 1 pound each). Minimum order is 3.
It has been real cold this winter so all the animals have had to get used to living with each other to stay warm.
Peach is the only pink blooming branch we have available right now.
We are stripping the leaves off of our Red Dogwood Branches. They are now available.
Alder poles are our native birch. We offer poles in custom lengths/diameters. 8′ poles is our standard cut.
