Double Red Quince: Early Pink Color and Later Red Blooms
Winter–spring
The original double-red-quince article described thornless stems whose early-forced flowers were pinker, deepening toward red later in the branch season.

The original grower note
From the archived post: As of 2018 we are now offering Double Flowering Red Quince. We force them early for Valentine’s Day–they are more pink early. Later in the season they are dark red. We also offer orange and pink. You cannot choose which color. They are easy to work with because they are thorn less.

These are historical observations and announcements from the original email: This is a great photo about 2 years ago of Nina and Independence (born on the 4th of July) with pistacio hydrangeas in the background and the Kilchis River just over the bank.
Pink and white cherry shipping today. Pink is very limited and available for the first few lucky customers. White is more readily available. Please be aware, that though they are nice for cherry in January, they are not the quality you will receive in March.
