Extra-Tall Red Ilex and Natural Christmas Display Materials
Christmas
Tall red ilex stems anchored this Christmas feature, accompanied by noble fir trees, flocked branches, holly, greens with cones and specimen wood forms.
Red berry stems at different scales
The newsletter highlighted ilex from tips through extra-tall grades. Choose branch scale for your vessel or installation, and use the current Christmas list for this year’s sizes, prices and quantity requirements.
How the specialty finishes were made
The farm noted that it developed crystallized branches in 2018 using white paint and opaline flakes. Glittered branches used a choice of base color and flake finish; flocked deciduous specimens were selected for horizontal branching.
A natural holiday palette
The historic selection included green or variegated holly, spruce or hemlock with cones, noble fir stars, large boughs and twig snowmen. Species and forms varied with the week’s harvest, so confirm rather than treating the archived list as current stock.
