Big Blue Hydrangeas and Nina’s Summer Return to the Farm
Summer
Vivid blue hydrangeas introduced a summer update from Nina, who returned from university and Switzerland to share the flower harvest and coastal farm life.
Fresh blue heads and mixed bunches
The feature highlighted blue hydrangeas and introduced wildflower hydrangea bunches in purple, lavender and blue. The historical list also included Pistachio, lacecaps and double lavender forms.
A new season of newsletters
Nina explained that she had completed her junior year in Agriculture and Food Business Management at Oregon State University. After visiting the Swiss Alps, she returned to summer work cutting flowers and writing the weekly emails.
A farm connected to its surroundings
A mother elk and calf appeared in the trail-camera feature, and the newsletter highlighted BayOcean Spit walking trails. The product list is archived; the current fresh list provides today’s colors and quantities.
