A day starts with the rows

In this newsletter, Nina described the flower team beginning the day by weeding at least one row each before picking for orders. The routine kept the work moving while the fast-growing summer garden needed attention.

From field to shop

The team picked Oregon Pride, periwinkle blue, Pistachio, white and specialty hydrangeas. After filling the farm truck, they returned to the shop to recut stems and place flowers in water before cooling or packing. That field-to-shop cycle repeated through the day, with photographs documenting the work.

The farm and its wedding setting

The post connected the harvest with Hydrangea Ranch, the family’s Oregon Coast wedding venue. It also recorded a deer and fawn on the trail camera. The flower list is historical; use the current site for orders and contact the venue separately about event plans.
