Mock Orange & the New Barn: May 2021 Farm Update
Newsletter dated May 23, 2021
Look back at mock orange and spring flowers in May 2021, alongside the eight-foot decorative medallion made for the farm’s new barn.
Mock orange among the spring flowers
The article featured white mock orange cut flowers, with peonies, snowball viburnum and flowering viburnum berries in the embedded email. The original product photographs documented that particular harvest period.
Making a detail for the barn
Patrick described an eight-foot medallion created for the middle of the new “old barn.” A stencil was used to sandblast the design into concrete before acid staining. This is a historical farm-building story, not an offer of concrete services.
A complete seasonal palette
Alder poles, forest droppings, mood moss and mossy branches accompanied the flowers. Use the specialty-flower guide for inspiration and today’s fresh list to confirm quantities, formats and shipping for a new request.
