The 2019 Christmas Specialty-Branch Preview
Newsletter dated October 29, 2019
Explore the farm’s 2019 Christmas palette of crystallized and flocked branches, winterberry, holly, cone-bearing evergreens and noble fir forms.
The crystallized finish
Patrick wrote that the farm developed crystallized branches in 2018 using white base paint and opaline flakes. Glittered branches offered several base colors and glitter choices, distinguishing two different finishes.
Evergreen and berry materials
Green and variegated holly, red ilex and cone-bearing spruce, hemlock or noble fir appeared in the preview. Which evergreen shipped depended on the week. Noble fir stars and boughs offered alternative forms to whole trees.
Specimen shapes
The email featured horizontal flocked deciduous branches, a six-foot twig snowman and several tree grades. The original sizes and prices belong to the 2019 program; the current Christmas list confirms today’s choices.
