Blue and White Hydrangeas from the Oregon Coast: July 2019
Newsletter dated July 7, 2019
A July 2019 field note described blue hydrangeas from the farm’s six-acre Hydrangea Ranch and a summer-to-fall wholesale shipping season.
Color and form within the crop
The newsletter featured blue and white heads, bicolor blue-white hydrangeas, white lacecaps, and Oregon Pride. White lacecaps were offered by bunch or as branches in that historical list.
A farm road lined with flowers
An opening photograph showed the perimeter road lined with hydrangeas and the Kilchis River outside it. Another showed Monika, Nina and Brownie in front of purple blooms.
Summer material beyond hydrangeas
Blackberry stems, blueberry branches, four-foot Lucifer, long gloriosa vines and antique lunaria pods appeared alongside forest materials. Use the present fresh list for today’s selection and shipping arrangements.
