Early-Summer White Lacecap Hydrangeas for Floral Design
Newsletter dated June 20, 2019
White lacecap hydrangeas came into production in early summer in this June 2019 feature, with both bunches and branching forms shown in the newsletter.
Choose the format
The original email offered white lacecaps by the bunch or in branches. A designer planning scale should distinguish individual stems from a larger branched specimen and confirm current pack details.
A contrast to darker hydrangeas
Bicolor blue-white heads and black-stemmed Oregon Pride appeared nearby in the historical list. The comparison helps frame choices among white, blue and purple forms without promising an exact repeat of the old palette.
From fresh pods to dried material
Blueberry stems and antique lunaria pods were also included, with dried lunaria expected weeks later. These notes preserve how the harvest changed rather than representing stock available today.
