Four ways to use ninebark

The grower described flower-bud, flowering, seed and fresh-foliage stages, with Autumn and dark Diabolo forms. These are distinct looks, so specify the stage and leaf color you need.

Why mock-orange bud stage mattered

The farm cut mock orange when buds were just starting to swell, explaining that more advanced stems opened too fast and did not last as long. The original bunch count is historical and should be reconfirmed.

The changing early-summer list

Green-fruited blueberries, purple and green lunaria pods, peonies and flowering ninebark appeared together. The email distinguished fresh lunaria pods from dried pods expected later in the season.
