From the original farm mailing
The original mailing recorded these observations: “Ornamental blueberry branches are taking the floral trade by storm. We sell 10 buncher per 1/2 box and 20 bunches per full box.” “Nina inspecting some calla lilies many years ago. This is the first year that we do not grow callas at all. We built our business on Calla Lilies, but South America can do it much cheaper than we can so we find things that set us apart–Flowering Branches, specialty forest items, and other specialty flowers.” “Shed antlers are available again_ Sold by the pound. Great for unique floral arrangeents.” “One of my favorite photos of me and my daughter Nina. Nina just won the 100 yard backstroke at the OR STate meet and set the state record as well. She set 5 school records this year in swimming as a freshmen.”
