Product and growing context

The source follows Limelight hydrangeas from green bloom through white into pinkish-rose antique color. The accompanying fall mailing also mentions the approaching Pee Gee crop and changing oak foliage.

From the original farm mailing

The original mailing recorded these observations: “Limelight Hydrangea start blooming green (hence the name limelight), then turn white, and finally a pinkish-rose color in the antique form.” “Red Maple Leaves coming next week!  Antique Burgundy & Limelight Hydrangeas, Oak Leaves.” “Our antique hydrangea are rich in color right now.  As they age they become better and better quality until they are all gone….” “This is one of my favorite photos of my farm. It shows the pavilion where we hold weddings and the hydrangea ranch on the lower side.”
