Yellow Dogwood and Mossy Apple Branches
Historical seasonal newsletter
Explore a historical yellow-dogwood page whose crop notes focus on dry mossy apple branches, lichen and autumn forest materials.
From the original crop report
The page title names yellow dogwood, but its main explanatory text describes Grandma’s apple-tree branches covered with moss and lichen. This distinction preserves the original email’s actual focus.
Details from the farm
The source describes dry moss and lichen that did not require hydration, with ten-bunch bundles and grades from twenty-four-inch tips to taller stems. A tall-length unit in the source appears inconsistent and is not repeated as a specification.
Seasonal context
The accompanying autumn list included rose hips, snowberries and antique hydrangeas. These are examples from a past harvest, with current grades and condition confirmed by the farm.
