Snowball Viburnum, Peonies & Snowmound Spirea
Newsletter dated May 22, 2012
ThisMay 2012 spring update pairs green snowball viburnum with peonies and Snowmound spirea, with natural wood slabs as a contrasting design material.
Rounded spring flower forms
Green snowball viburnum was the leading feature, followed by peonies in light pink, dark pink, and red. Snowmound spirea supplied another flowering-branch option. Together they document the farm’s late-spring palette.
Two historical branch lengths
The original snowball list distinguished medium stems averaging 30 inches and tall stems averaging 48 inches. Those measurements describe that old harvest and may differ from current grades, so confirm length and bunch counts when planning.
Flowers and natural structures
The email also showed wood slabs and described custom widths and depths. For a current installation or table design, explain the dimensions and quantities needed and let the farm confirm available materials and shipping.
