Fresh Mood Moss and a Summer of Purple Hydrangeas
Historical seasonal newsletter
Explore a fresh-mood-moss archive with purple hydrangeas, green Chinese lanterns, thornless blackberries and unusual Tillamook Bay driftwood.
From the original crop report
The source opens with a driftwood shape compared playfully to a dragon, alongside green Chinese lanterns and purple hydrangeas. The title places mood moss within this broader summer newsletter.
Details from the farm
Thornless blackberries were being harvested, while Japanese maple branches were described as a mix of red and green stems with character. These crop details record that season’s natural palette.
Seasonal context
The email also mentions collecting forest droppings after storms and New Zealand-bred callas for cut production. Historical prices and immediate-stock statements have expired.
